We are sorry but we do not have enough staff to help with
1. Articles that have already been approved but just need minor proofreading (However, see PDF file above for research dept. help).
2. Abstracts for conferences, or English abstracts for Korean articles
3. Theses, dissertations, book chapters, or books.
4. SoPs, resumes, writing tests essays such as TOEFL or other types of personal essay documents.
5. Translation services
6. Articles that do not have at least a Hanyang first author or corresponding author.
7. Articles that are co-authored with native speakers. Advising authors should check the paper carefully if their name is on it.
8. Other types of writing that are not for journal article publication such as undergraduate essays.
Specialized English Research Writing Materials
As well as providing free writing consultations to Hanyang university faculty and students, the English Writing Lab also creates and collects materials for writing in each field with a focus on the sciences and gives 5-6 workshops on research writing each term. We teach or have taught writing classes for graduate students in the departments of Engineering, English Education, and the College of Medicine at Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea.

Hanyang graduate students, researchers, and faculty receive email notices of upcoming workshops throughout the term. Our workshops are also advertised on the main Hanyang homepage.
